Agrivalle launches microbiological fungicide/nematicide in Brazil

Brazilian company Agrivalle is launching the first microbiological fungicide and nematicide with a mixture of three organisms.

Called Shocker, the product reduces the risk of diseases that could infect crops, favouring the development of healthy roots that will better exploit the soil.

Shocker is comprised of bacteria Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain (CPQBA 040-11DRM 01) and Bacillus amyloliquefaciensstrain (CPQBA 040-11RRM 04). It also has in its composition the fungus Trichoderma harzianum strain (CPQBA 040-11DRM 09).

Shocker is recommended for the control of diseases, such as Rhizoctoniosis and white mould, which mainly attack soy, coffee, cotton and minor crops. Being a natural product, Shocker leaves no residue, favours the balance of microorganisms, helps in the decomposition of organic matter and benefits the nutrition of plants, as well as combating soil diseases.

Shocker will begin to be manufactured in early 2019, and available to producers by May this year.
