Australian Potash Ltd secures fifth off-take agreement for SOP project

Australian Potash Limited, the owner of the Lake Wells Sulphate of Potash (LSOP) project, has signed a binding off-take agreement for the supply of 20,000 t/y of its K-Brite product with Helm AG for distribution in USA.

This follows up on Australian Potash’s 4th off-take agreement, signed in August 2020, for the distribution of 30,000 t/y in European markets, also to Helm AG.

In today’s announcement, the company said that 100% of the Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) projected output of 150,000 t/y was now committed under off-take agreements.

Managing Director and CEO, Matt Shackleton, commented: “Australian Potash Limited now has 100% of its DFS output under offtake. This is a significant milestone for the Company, and bears testament to the open and cooperative relationship we have developed with our major offtake partner, Helm AG.”
